I agree about the fights however manga itself portrayed fights better so if you dont like the anime soooooo badly then switch to manga. Imma finish anime since it isnt as bad as "platinum end" or "shakugan no shana".
And it is one of the anime that makes me hooked to itself.

this is a show which is much more comparable to , irregular of magic high, one punch man, misfit of demon king academy and such. however all of the above are actually better takes

how dare you compare this to the master piece the irregular at magical high is. I personally think irregular is better than AOT and demon slayer. I can say that as a light novel reader the story is better than both demon slayer and AOT manga. Underrated is what mahouka is.

I heard the manga does a slightly better job atleast.

i don't know, i haven't read the manga nor the ln but i think those two are always do better than the anime. slime tensei, realist hero, last season's faraway paladin are some of the view where i think the manga are miles better than the anime.
i think it has something to do with time constraint and budgeting that's why this one feel rushed to me.
